Dharwad (Karnataka), Feb 09 (ANI): Family members of Lance Naik Hanumanthappa, who was miraculously found alive after an avalanche in the Siachen glacier, left for New Delhi on Tuesday. The Family members said they were glad and waiting anxiously to see him. Hanumanthappa, who is on ventilator, arrived at the Palam airbase from where he was shifted to the Army Research and Referral Hospital.

Man killed by unidentified persons in U.S.

Gujarat, Jan 13 (ANI): An Indian was allegedly shot dead by unidentified men near a school in Virginia in the United States. The victim, Harshad Patel, belonged to Anand district of Gujarat.The family members were in shock after hearing the news of Harshad’s death. He was living in the U.S. for 21 years. Harshad was shot at when he was closing his convenience store. He was immediately taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The family members sought strict action from the government. Harshad is survived by his wife and two daughters. The United States police is investigating the matter.
