Every winter Delhi comes under the grip of severe pollution thanks to a host of factors from Diwali crackers to extensive crop stubble burning in nearby states. In fact, over the past few years Delhi has been among the most polluted cities in the world with PM 2.5 and PM10 levels many times over permissible limits. In 2016, the city is witnessing one of the worst periods of pollution ever recorded in the city.

New Delhi, Jan 21 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Udit Raj on Thursday said despite spending Rs 20 crore on implementation of the Odd-Even formula, there was no significant decrease in Delhi’s pollution. Udit added that the scheme was not wrong, but the results were unproductive. He further said that the amount spent belongs to the common man of Delhi, and therefore it should have been used productively.
