ABOUT Deepika Padukone
Born in January 5, 1986 Deepika Padukone is an Indian film actress. Daughter of ace badminton player Prakash Padukone, Deepika is one of the highest-paid actresses in India and is cited in the media as one of the nation's most popular and attractive personalities. The actor started her career as a model then later on in 2008, the actor made her debut with Farah Khan’s directorial Om Shanti Om, which also starred Shah Rukh Khan. In 2012, the actor gave back to back four hits – Cocktail, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Chennai Express and Happy New Year. Her recent release Bajirao Mastani, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, became 2015’s highest grossing film of the year. Her performance in Piku, along with Amitabh Bachchan, garnered her Filmfare Best Actress of the Year. In 2015, Deepika opened up about suffering through depression. Later on, she started Live Love Laugh Foundation to help others to fight with depression. In 2017, she made her Hollywood debut with xXx:The Return of Xander Cage film, which also starred Vin Diesel.
