The new OBA scheme announced by CBSE differs in its structure and intent, with greater emphasis on integrating the approach into regular exams and hence aligning it with NEP’s broader vision. It is also pertinent to note that the roll out of OBE is optional. Schools according to their academic plan can try and test and can also leave the roll out.

According to CBSE, the workshops aim to support effective implementation of the Parenting Calendar and to provide parents with strategies to address the academic, social, and emotional needs of children.

CBSE to launch educational podcasts, create digital content: Schools to nominate students from grades 9-12 for participation

Interested schools have been instructed to forward the names and short profiles of nominated students to CBSE using the Google form link provided in the circular. The submissions must be made within ten days from the date of issue of the notice.

While the Career Guidance Dashboard equips students with tools and resources for informed career exploration, the CBSE Counseling Hub and Spoke School Model seeks to strengthen mental health support systems through a network of CBSE mentor hub schools working collaboratively with spoke schools.

The CBSE directive issued now is a continuation of an earlier circular dated October 9, 2024, and aims to ensure compliance with Rules 13 and 14 of the CBSE Examination Bye-Laws.
