Schools of Specialised Excellence were launched in 2021 under the Delhi Board of Secondary Education to offer skill-based, specialised education aligned with the National Education Policy 2020.

To calculate the total score, students should add four marks for each correct answer and reduce one mark for each incorrect answer, Additionally for questions not attempted by the candidate no marks will be rewarded to deducted.

IISER IAT 2024 will be conducted on June 9 for admission to the four-year BS, and five-year BS-MS dual degree programmes at IISERs. The exam will be held as a computer-based test.

The ministry has formed a task force comprising officials of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and psychometric experts for developing a "prototype" of this proposed assessment test, official sources said.
