He exclaimed that this is a great beginning and interesting things are coming to the forefront. He added that he is thankful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for carrying out declassification of files. Supporting the declassification, Congress leader Shakeel Ahmed said Congress also demanded declassification of files and there is no question of being embarrassed. He also said that both Congress and Subhas Chandra Bose's aim was to free India. The party has no problem with it. Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen said that there is hardly any mystery. He added that Netaji's vision of equity and justice is badly needed in all spheres of life. Expressing interest in the files declassified by the Centre, he said it was more important to debate Netaji's life and work than his death.
