Missing teen's body found near UP CM's residence

Lucknow, Feb 16 (ANI): A body of a Class 12 girl, who went missing on February 10, was recovered this morning from near Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav's residence here. The girl had left for school on February 10 and when she did not return, her parents filed an FIR. The girl was allegedly sexually assaulted. Lashing out at the UP Government, Bahujan Samaj Party leader Swami Prasad Maurya said this incident shows how irresponsible is the state police and government. Echoing similar sentiments, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Suresh Khanna said the girl was found dead in a drain between DGP headquarters and CM's residence, still no serious measures have been taken till now.

Lucknow, Feb 12 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav presented the last budget of his government on Friday. It is expected that the budget presented will be a deficit of Rs 3.5 lakh crore as the political parties are trying to woo the public for the 2017 UP Assembly elections. New Delhi, Feb 09 (ANI): Speaking on the rise of crime in Uttar Pradesh, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Shrikant Sharma on Tuesday said Akhilesh Yadav’s Government promoted ‘Gunda-Raj’ in the state. He added that Akhilesh is responsible for the deteriorating condition of Uttar Pradesh's law and order. They have issued a license for hooliganism. Sharma added that the condition of law and order is so bad that at least ten rapes happen each day. There is a murder every half an hour. Each day, there are 17 communal incidents. In crimes against women, Uttar Pradesh tops the list. He further added that the BJP demands investigation into all the matter at the earliest.

Jalaun (UP), Jan 27 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday assured that for Samajwadi Party, Bundelkhand has always been a priority. Yadav praised his government, adding that Bundelkhand will soon generate maximum electricity compared to other regions in Uttar Pradesh. Yadav added that transformers have been changed in Bundelkhand to ensure that people at least have electricity for 20 hours in a day.
