Stunt master Santo Krishnan dies
Santo Krishnan is best known for his role as 'Hanuman' in various mythological films.
Santo Krishnan,actor and stunt master of South Indian films,died at his home at
Ottappalam here yesterday,family sources said.
He was 96. His wife passed away last year.
Kirshnan,who had acted in over 1000 films in Tamil,Telugu and Malayalam,is best known for his role as ‘Hanuman’ in various mythological films.
Krishnan Nair in real life,he had given new definition to stunt scenes in hundreds of films including those featuring movie icons like M G Ramachandran,N T Rama Rao and Prem Nazir.
Krishnan,who was settled in Chennai during the heydays of South Indian films,returned to his native town Ottappalam a few years back.
For the last few months,he had been suffering from various illnesses.
