Raja The Great box office: Ravi Teja film collects over Rs 26 crore in 3 days

“The film should show an upward trend during the weekend and posts an impressive 5-day weekend collection at the worldwide box office,” said a trade source.

Raja The Great released on October 18, coinciding with Deepavali. The film debuted at the box office by collecting Rs 10 crore. It grossed more than Rs 7 crore on day one in Telugu states alone.

The Anil Ravilpudi directorial has been reportedly hit by piracy as the film is available on torrents sites. The director requested the audience not to encourage piracy in a social media post. “Watch Raja The Great if you haven’t, we can assure you the Guaranteed Entertainment!! Stay away from Piracy nd njoy movie on big screens(sic),” Anil Ravilpudi tweeted.

Raja The Great has a blind protagonist with some uncanny skills. The film starring Mehreen Pirzada as the female lead was released to mixed reactions from the media and fans.

The Ravi Teja starrer was bankrolled by Dil Raju. Ravi Teja’s next project is with Vikram Srikonda, which is in the pipeline. The film, which is being called Touch Chesi Choodu, is being bankrolled by Nallamalupu Bujji and Vallabhaneni Vamsy under Lakshmi Narsimha Productions banner.
