Sunidhi Chauhan has been roped in to croon for an Indo-American project. The film titled Mumbhai Connection is a gangsta-comedy shot entirely in the US. It will be releasing in August. The singer was approached by director Atlanta Nagendra, a US-based film-maker who was extremely excited to work with Chauhan since her songs are quite popular in the West and she enjoys a good following in United Kingdom, United States of America and a few European countries as well. The song Chauhan will be crooning is an upbeat number in Hindi, with a few English lines fused in. The music for Mumbhai Connection has been composed by Praveen Duth Stephen, who has previously worked on music for Kannada and Tamil films.

According to her, the compositions will remain the same, with only the Hindi lyrics being translated into Telugu. While the singers for most of the tracks have been retained, Chakraborty will croon Telugu version of Tum hi ho and Piya aaye na. The male singers for both the songs, Arijit Singh and KK, will remain the same.— DM
