The increasing internet addiction is the base of a film. Director Kedar Gaekwad makes his debut with Online Binline, a Marathi rom com which stars Siddharth Chandekar, Hemant Dhome and debutant Rutuja Shinde.
The film talks about internet addiction and how it can affect the lives of today’s youth. The film went on floors on October 30 and has been shot in locations like Symbiosis College, Amanora park town, Bhorgoan and few areas in Pune.
Claiming that this would be a fresh concept on the Marathi cinema front, the makers claim that some of the aspects in the movie are adopted from real life incidents of internet addiction and its consequences.
Produced by Rajesh Pinjani and Shreyash Jadhav, the film is set to release in the first half of 2015.
