Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, who has shared screen space with Bradley Cooper in three films, calls him her “work spouse”.

The hit on-screen pair starred in “Silver Lining Playbook” (2012), which gave Lawrence, 24, her maiden Oscar win, “American Hustle” (2013) and most recently in upcoming film “Serena”.

“Honestly, it’s just happenstance,” Cooper said of working so often with Lawrence. “We both got cast in “Silver Linings”, and she was going to this other movie and the role was open and so that worked out,” Cooper, 40, said.

The “American Sniper” star said he loves working with Lawrence because he finds her better than him.

“I respect her so much as a professional, as an actor, and I think she’s the best there is. I just learn from her. You always want to work with people who are better than you.”

“And I feel the same way about him,” Lawrence said.
