Shahid Kapoor’s first look from ‘Rangoon’ shows him in army uniform and looks every inch the army officer.

Bollywood heartthrob Shahid Kapoor, who is currently shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming film ‘Rangoon’, will be seen playing an army soldier in the film. His first look from the movie shows Shahid in army uniform and looks every inch the army officer.

Set during the World War II, ‘Rangoon’ is a love story which also features actor Saif Ali Khan and actress Kangana Ranaut in lead roles.

Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj, who always gives Shahid new looks in the film, had experimented with two looks – sporting a thick beard in one and minus a moustache in another.

Shahid Kapoor has been training hard in the gym for the taut body of an army jawan, giving up on carbs and cigarettes to look the part.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, ‘Rangoon’ is slated to release next year.
