Lauren Gottlieb joins Arshad Warsi, Jackky Bhagnani for ‘Welcome To Karachi’

Lauren Gottlieb of “Jhalak Dikhhla Ja” fame has joined Arshad Warsi and Jackky Bhagnani in the upcoming political satire “Welcome To Karachi”.

Lauren posted the first look of the film on Twitter. It shows a green-coloured board with ‘Welcome 2 Karachi’ written on it in English and Urdu. The board also bears the words ‘confusion’ and ‘ahead’.

“The first look of my next film #WelcomeToKarachi is now out,” tweeted Lauren. Jackky also tweeted the same photograph.

Lauren made her Bollywood debut with Remo D’Souza’s “ABCD: Any Body Can Dance” in 2013. She makes a special appreance in Dibakar Banerjee’s “Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!”, in the song “Calcutta Kiss”.

“Welcome to Karachi” is directed by Ashish R Mohan and produced by Jackky’s father Vashu Bhagnani.

The film is about two Indians, who land in Karachi, Pakistan without their passports.
