‘Fukrey’ actor Ali Fazal to pen short film

Actor Ali Fazal is taking baby steps into scriptwriting with a short film, the title of which is yet to be locked.

Actor Ali Fazal, who will next be seen in ‘Khamoshiyan‘, is trying his hand at scriptwriting. He’s taking baby steps into it with a short film, the title of which is yet to be locked.

The film will be shot in February 2015, and it has been co-written by Ali with Hussain Dalal, who recently came in the limelight through his heartwarming ad film for Nescafe.

Talking about his new endeavour, Ali said in a statement: “It is a very simple story which we are trying to portray in a short film format. We have not decided the title of the film yet but we are going to shoot this early next year. I hope to achieve an intense cinematic experience through this.”

The film will be completely shot in Mumbai.

Ali started his Bollywood stint with ‘3 Idiots’, and then went on to feature in films like ‘Fukrey’ and ‘Bobby Jasoos‘.
