After his show was aired in India, Fawad earned a huge fan following and it was a treat for his fans to see him in a Bollywood movie. He received the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut post ‘Khoobsurat’.

Also a singer by profession, Fawad rose to fame in 2007 in his country with the film ‘Khuda Kay Liye’.

Happily married to Sadaf Fawad, the actor has a son.
