After Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor’s Befikre premiered in Dubai International Film Festival, fans and members of the audience have been busy updating their social media accounts with their takes on the Aditya Chopra film. Befikre released in India on Friday.

The film sees Ranveer and Vaani coming together on the screen for the first time even as Aditya has returned to direction after a gap of eight years. Umair Sandhu, Dubai-based film critic, wrote on Facebook, “It has splendid moments in the first hour. Directorially, #AdityaChopra offers stunning visuals and some really fine performances, but Vishal-Shekhar’s music is Fantastic. Nashe Si Chad Gaye’ and ‘Ude Dil Befikre ‘ are already Chartbusters. Cinematography is a class apart. Besides, the cinematographer gets some spectacular locales and he does complete justice to it.”

A Twitter user said Befikre’s trailers, which were high on PDA, were misleading. “The trailers are misleading. Befikre is a feel good fun movie with @RanveerOfficial lovely charm #befikre,” wrote @praklawn, adding, “Befikre is a fun fun fun film. Loved it immensely. Crazy madness #befikre.”
