Three persons, including the personal assistant to Karnataka’s Medical Education Minister, were arrested by the state CID Monday in connection with the leak of Chemistry question paper for the Class 12 exam conducted by the state education department. The question paper was leaked twice ahead of the scheduled exam date. This compelled the education department to postpone the exam twice, triggering protest from the students. The exam is now scheduled for April 12.
The CID arrested Obalaraju (51), personal assistant to Medical Education Minister Sharan Prakash Patil, and his associates Manjunatha (47), a physical education teacher at Cambridge College in Bengaluru, and Rudrappa (50), an office manager with the state PWD.
