According to a senior Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) official, however, the paraglider was spotted by an incoming Indigo flight’s pilot.

“An incoming Indigo pilot informed the ATC about a paraglider crossing the flight path and heading towards the airport. ATC immediately called off the takeoff of the Jet Airways flight. As the paraglider has not landed inside the airport, it is up to the police to find him,” said the official.

Jet airways has denied that the takeoff of their flight was cancelled.
