Weeks after Delhi government locked out former secretary Anindo Majumdar from his office for following directions from the Lt-Governor, circumstances seem to be brewing for another such stalemate.

The Delhi government on Tuesday transferred secretary (home) Dharam Pal for having reportedly signed the order for the posting of Mukesh Kumar Meena to Anti-Corruption Bureau, and told him to report to the Union Ministry of Hone Affairs. But within hours, the office of the Lt-Governor revoked the order. Sources in the Delhi government confirmed that the Lt-Governor’s order states that Pal will stay in his present position.
