Phagwara resident complains against Radhe Maa for bribery, obscenity

Phagwara resident Surinder Mittal, who earlier recorded his telephonic conversation with Radhe Maa and provided these to TV channels, has submitted a complaint to police demanding registration of a case against the ’godwoman’ for bribing, threatening, torturing, seducing, hurting religious sentiments and also for spreading obscenity and vulgarity.

He also demanded security to him with immediate effect in the wake of such threats.

In the complaint submitted to Kapurthala SSP, Mittal has also demanded registration of a case against Radhe Maa’s sister Rajjo Maasi, her daughter-in-law Megha, her close associate Ritu Sareen aka Chhotti Maa and her follower, Mumbai-based Sanjeev Gupta.

Mittal had also provided recordings of his telephonic conversations with Radhe Maa and her sister in April last and printouts of WhatsApp messages from their mobile phones and that of her daughter-in-law.

He further alleged that he was offered money and when he rejected them and he started getting threats. He claimed she was falsely claiming herself as incarnation of goddess and was hurting religious sentiments while also spreading obscenity.

“It is further submitted with a humble prayer to get the voice sample of Radhe Maa, her sister, daughter-in-law and Chhotti Maa be taken for forensic test, so the truth may be unearthed,” Mittal has written in his complaint to the SSP while also demanding action under provisions of Information Technology Act apart from several sections of the IPC.

When contacted, Kapurthala SSP Rajinder Singh said he had received the complaint from Mittal. SSP also said he would order an inquiry in the same.
