ISRO conducts successful tests of parachute system for upcoming human spaceflight mission and prepares for record-breaking launch of heaviest satellite. Tests involved drogue parachutes on sled moving at 600 km per hour, with gradual reefed inflation to avoid jerks. Crew module will have four types of parachutes, with main parachutes deployed by pilot chutes for soft splashdown.
