The ODI World Cup 2023 is currently underway in India, with the top ten teams in the world vying for supremacy. The Cricket World Cup is being played in a round-robin format, with each team playing each other once. The top four teams at the end of the round-robin stage will qualify for the semi-finals.

The World Cup points table is a good indicator of how the teams are performing in the tournament. Teams are awarded two points for a win, one point for a tie or no result, and zero points for a loss.

Net run rate is used to break ties in points.

Here is how the net run rate is calculated: Net run rate for each team is calculated by dividing the total number of runs scored by the team by the total number of overs faced, and then subtracting the total number of runs conceded by the team by the total number of overs bowled. If a team is all out before playing the full quota of overs, the net run rate is calculated based on the total overs, not the overs the team was dismissed in.
