The changes in Seema might appear minor to the privileged folk, but in her life, they were like tsunamis. She keeps repeating that she has transformed completely.
Shiv Nadar University (SNU) has produced many students who have walked the untrodden path. One such student, who has actually created her own path, is Bhargavi Gopalan. Bhargavi has two achievements that she is equally proud of: when she performed her solo debut in dance, and when she completed her Masterâs thesis research.
When the family moved to Gurgaon, Aumkaran joined Shiv Nadar School in Class 6. From playing on hard ground or the floor where lines had to be drawn by hand, he was transported to world-class courts and superb coaching from his school badminton coach.
"Excellent faculty encouraged practical learning, and never restricted us on how to learn. I remember spending more time in the library and labs than in the classroom.â says Malai
Aarav says, "Each painting takes 5-6 hours. I like painting faces and figures, mainly. Now my canvas sizes are bigger, and my style has changed. There are more colours and more perfection in my work now."
As a student of SSN, Vikas received great support and impetus for his environmental pursuits. At SSN, he learned to balance two parts of his life, which will stand him in good stead forever.
In the spirit of giving back, embodied by Shiv Nadar and inculcated in every student of VidyaGyan, Hemlata did community service at her village in Mathura, helping women, including her mother, to deal with paperwork at banks and other institutions.
After Nisha could not get through to London College of Fashion Technology due to financial constraints, her goal became a career in art, although most people she knows in her extended family and village cannot fathom what a career in design could mean.
