Azam Khan has abused me,alleges Jaya Prada

SP's candidate from Rampur Jaya Prada has alleged that Azam Khan has used 'some wrong words and abuses' against her.

Amidst the rift between Samajwadi Party leaders Amar Singh and Azam Khan over the candidature of actress Jaya Prada from Rampur Lok Sabha seat in Uttar Pradesh, she spoke against her detractors and described the alleged abuses by Khan as ‘disturbing’.

“He used some wrong words and abuses. He may not be directly telling them but some of his stooge’s wave black flags and protest in my presence. It was very disturbing”,she told reporters here after an election rally.

Asked to name the people abusing her,she said,”Azam Khan has said some things (about me) to his party workers. I cannot repeat the words he used for me. As a lady I cannot utter them.”

Questioned if she felt humiliated,Jaya Prada said,”I always respect elders. Whatever their abuse is,I never retaliate. I never say bad things about anybody,” she said in her defence.

Even though Azam khan has openly spoken about his differences with Singh over inclusion of Kalyan Singh into the party fold, many view Jaya Prada’s candidature from Rampur, which is Khan’s bastion, also as one of the reasons.

“I am not the main cause,I am one of the cause. But,I don’t know the truth and what is the reason (between their differences). I think my elder brother Azam Khan Saheb can explain it in a better way,” Jaya Prada said when asked about this ongoing tussle in the SP.

Mahavir Bhagwan preached,”Live and let others live. I say,Let me live in peace”,said the erstwhile celluloid star.
