Amid the campaigning for the November 30 Assembly elections in Telangana, Ramesh Hazari, who works in the office of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, has written a book explaining the government’s schemes and welfare programmes with statistical data.

BRS working president and IT and Industry Minister K T Rama Rao unveiled the book, Pragati Prasthanam…Etlunde Telangana, Etlayindi Telangana (March of Progress: How Telangana was, how it has transformed), on Friday.

“This book will be useful for everyone who wants to know about the development of Telangana in detail,’’ Hazari said. He said that he compiled the book and the data as several state governments and political leaders across the country had shown a keen interest in the welfare schemes and development programmes of Telangana.

“This book has data about implementation of the welfare schemes till October 2023. It is an eye-opener for everyone about how many families have benefited from the schemes and how their lives have changed,” Hazari added.

Unveiling the book, KTR said that as a result of the schemes, poverty had declined in Telangana, a fact he said a Niti Aayog report had mentioned.

KTR exuded confidence that KCR will win the elections and assume the chief minister’s office for a third consecutive time.

Hazari has also written catchy campaign songs for the BRS.
