With the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) heading towards a landslide victory in three states — Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh — Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sunday calling the day “unprecedented,” said the ideologies of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas, Sabka Vishwas‘, self-reliant India, honesty, and transparency have emerged victorious.

Speaking at the party headquarters in New Delhi, where he arrived this evening along with BJP national president J P Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Modi expressed his gratitude towards the people of the states and party workers for their tireless contribution and hard work. “I ask all the BJP volunteers to ensure the creation of a generation whose dream is a Viksit Bharat (advanced India). These Assembly election results have ushered in an atmosphere of positivity… we have to keep this energy, this momentum up. The responsibility of each BJP karyakarta has increased today,” Modi said.

“These elections saw many attempts to divide the people of the country into different castes. But I kept saying that I believe in only four of them — nari shakti (women empowerment), yuva shakti (youth empowerment), our kisans (farmers) and the poor. It is only by empowering these four that the country can develop,” the prime minister said.

He called the results the victory of the poor, Adivasis, and the farmers. “Every poor person, every Adivasi brother or sister, every farmer is happy that they have emerged victorious. Today, every citizen who wants to see India as a developed nation in 2047 has emerged successful.”

Calling ‘nari shakti‘ (women empowerment) a significant pillar of strength for the BJP, Modi said, “In these elections, the nari shakti of the nation took it upon itself to bless us.” He also said the youth of the country know that the BJP has their interests at its heart.

He further said that the “reverberations of these election results will be felt across the world… they will give confidence to Indians across the world that the vision of a developed india by 2047 is consistently being blessed. Today’s mandate has also proven that there is no place for corruption, division and dynastic politics in the hearts of the people of the country.” Emphasising on the welfare schemes introduced by the Centre, Modi said, “Today is a lesson for those state governments which deliberately keep the people from benefitting from the welfare schemes of the Centre.”

Concluding his speech, Modi highlighted that the dreams of the citizens are his resolutions. “Your dreams are my resolutions.” “Our country is larger than our party, and our citizens are larger than our hearts,” the PM noted.

Earlier in the day, bowing to the “Janta Janardhan,” Modi wrote on X, “the results in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan indicate that the people of India are firmly with politics of good governance and development, which the @BJP4India stands for. I thank the people of these states for their unwavering support and assure them that we will keep working tirelessly for their well-being. A special thanks to the hardworking Party Karyakartas. Each of them is exemplary! They have worked tirelessly and highlighted our development agenda among the people.”

As the Congress wrested Telangana from the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi, the Prime Minister said, “Our bond with Telangana is unbreakable and we will keep working for the people. I also appreciate the industrious efforts of each and every BJP Karyakarta.”

Modi wrote on X, “My dear sisters and brothers of Telangana, thank you for your support to the @BJP4India. Over the last few years, this support has only been increasing and this trend will continue in the times to come.”
