The Karnataka Assembly elections are scheduled to be held on May 10 and counting of votes will take place on May 13. The term of the current 224-seat Karnataka Assembly gets over on May 24.

As the candidates start filing their nominations, we take a look at their assets.

Considered a political heavyweight, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee spokesperson Laxmi Hebbalkar declared assets worth Rs 12.65 crore for the upcoming Assembly polls.

Meanwhile, Nikhil Katti, late minister Umesh Katti’s son who fielded by the BJP from Hukkeri, declared assets to the tune of Rs 116 crore. An MBA by qualification, Nikhil has one pending case against him.
