The US has recently warned Iran against launching any further attacks on Israel, cautioning that Washington may be unable to hold back Israel in the event of another strike, Axios reported on Saturday, citing both a US official and a former Israeli official.

According to a previous report by Axios, Israeli intelligence indicates that Iran may be preparing to launch an attack on Israel from Iraqi territory in the coming days, potentially ahead of the US presidential election on Nov 5.
