The Delhi Police has issued traffic advice for the upcoming Beating Retreat Ceremony on January 29, 2025, at Vijay Chowk as part of Republic Day celebrations. Because the event will be held at Vijay Chowk, adjacent to the Parliament building, surrounding roads like Raisina Road and Kartavya Path will remain closed to regular traffic. Vehicle travel will also be prohibited from 2:00 PM to 9:30 PM on Rafi Marg, from the Golden Mosque to Krishi Bhavan, Raisina Road from Krishi Bhavan to Vijay Chowk, Dalhousie Road, and Rajpath from Vijay Chowk to C-Hexagon. Various arrangements have been made to illuminate Rashtrapati Bhawan, North Block, South Block, and Parliament House.
