This singer’s lyrical version of the ‘Panchayat’ theme is winning hearts. Watch

Prime Videos’ Panchayat season 3 set social media abuzz with its quirky dialogues and light-hearted rural drama. From Sachiv ji and Rinky’s sweet romance to Banrakash’s ‘aluah meeting’, the Internet is flooded with spoofs and memes around the show. Among several posts, a video of Mumbai-based singer Palash Shrivastava adding lyrics to the iconic Panchayat theme is winning hearts.

In his lyrics, Shrivastava highlighted the personality traits of key characters in the series. The lyrics on the video read, “Iss gaon ka naam hai Phulera. Hain yahan Pradhan aur Prahlad Cha. Sachiv ji hain hamare nayak, inki aakhaon mein hai sapne.Vikas unke hain sahayak. Manju devi ki pradhan. Sachiv ji ne sikhaya pura rashtra gaan. Banrakash and aur Vinod bhi, jinke kaaran hoti nok jhok bhi. Purab hai paschim hai, sar chadha Vidhayak hai. Rinkiya tanki pe chadhi. Lauki hai nautanki hai gazab bezzati bhi.”

Sharing the video, Shrivastava wrote, “Here’s my take on Panchayat’s iconic theme with a lyrical twist.”

The video garnered over three million views and many reactions from social media users. The video also caught Prime Video India’s attention. Reacting to it, the handle wrote, “Listening to this on loop.” Another user commented, “Absolutely love this.”
