Viral video: A girl’s ‘honest’ rant about schools has people in splits

Elaborating her list of problems, she complaints about everything from the morning ritual of brushing the teeth, hurrying to drink down a glass of milk to studying an array of subjects in schools.

The little girl’s rant in Gujurati was dubbed as honest by many online.

In a video doing rounds on social media, a little girl is seen venting about having to wake up daily at 6 am to rush to school, and says she has a punishment in mind for the person responsible for coming up with the education system.

In a video shared by police ofiicer Arun Bothra on Twitter, the girl complains about how she is fed up about going to school daily and demands “chutkara“(freedom) for a month. Elaborating on her list of problems, the girl complains about the morning ritual of brushing teeth, being rushed to drink a glass of milk and the various subjects she has to study.

When asked what she will do if she meets the person responsible for setting up schools, the girl has a curt response: “Main usse dhoke ke na, puri paani dal ke, istri kar dalungi puri!(I’ll wash that person, pour in a whole lot of water, and iron him/her out)”.

The girl also questions why God couldn’t make the education system more pleasant.

“Han toh bas padhna kyun ganda banaya? Padhna thoda achha hi bana deta, toh humko bhi thoda maaza aata! (Why did he make only studies bad? He could have made studying a little interesting, so we could have also enjoyed it),” the girl says in the video.

Many agreed with the girl’s view and said that the education system should be revamped. The video reached even Delhi deputy CM and Education minister, Manish Sisodia, who was really moved by the girl’s words and jokingly said that “A school should be opened for those who build and run the school… and this little girl will be the principal of this school”.
