Even though the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has repeatedly warned commuters against dancing and filming Instagram reels inside its coaches, many are still seen performing inside trains. A video going viral on Instagram shows a man singing Atif Aslam’s song ‘Bakhuda Tumhi Ho’.

The video was posted by the Instagram page kardiyaprank, which belongs to a musician and band, in January this year and has amassed more than eight million views since then. It shows the man singing the song from the 2008 film Kismat Konnection which starred Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan.

While a man, who is seated, played the guitar, he soulfully sang the song standing in the middle of the metro coach. Many commuters are also seen in the video recording the moment on their mobile phones.

“Respect for guitarist,” commented a user. “Now doing this in metro is illegal,” said another. “This guys deserve a big stage,” posted a third. “Positive vibes purely,” wrote yet another.

In a tweet recently, DMRC said, “Filming reels/dance videos or any other such activities that may cause inconvenience to the passengers is strictly prohibited inside the Delhi Metro.” “Delhi Metro mein passenger bane, pareshaani nahi (be a passenger, not a hassle on Delhi Metro),” it added.

This is not the first time that DMRC has asked passengers not to dance inside metro coaches. It made a similar appeal on Twitter in September last year, telling passengers stage is the right place for dance and not the Metro.

A video of a woman dancing inside an empty metro coach didn’t go down well with netizens. Video creator Aparna Devyal had shared the video on her Instagram account on December 25. She was seen swinging while holding on to the handrails and then dancing barefoot on the seat.
