As the job market continues to witness a sea of talents daily, candidates often get cold feet or inhibitions before the interview. However, a young man’s interview took a hilarious turn when he made a ‘funny face’ out of the blue during a virtual interview, and left the internet in stitches. While several users called it out for being ‘scripted’, the video is still stirring up attention.
The viral clip begins with the interviewee asking the candidate to introduce himself. In response, the candidate starts with his name and educational qualifications and suddenly makes a cock a snook gesture, leaving the interviewer perplexed. When the interviewer points it out, the candidate disconnects the meeting.
Sharing the video, an X handle @Madan_Chikna wrote, “Job interview gone wrong. I think he won’t get selected.”

With nearly 70,00,00 views, the video prompted a range of reactions. A user wrote, “I would hire him.” Another user commented, “These are staged ones. Most interviews need camera on.”
“I used to this in my online classes,” a third user reacted. “The inner child came out at the wrong time,” another user commented.
In June, a hilarious job application sent to a Bengaluru-based CEO Dipalie Bajaj took the internet by storm. Bajaj invited applications for a full stack engineer with her startup and ended up with details of the love life of a candidate. When asked why he thought he would make a good fit for the role, the candidate answered that he needed this job so he could marry his childhood love. The candidate further explained that his girlfriend’s father had refused permission for the two to tie the knot as he was unemployed.
