Bank Holiday in India: Banks will be closed today and tomorrow, i.e Friday-Saturday, December 19-20, on account of the Goa Liberation Day and Losoong/ Namsoong, designated by the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) 2025 holiday calendar, under the Negotiable Instruments Act, which contains both RTGS holidays and other regional and national holidays.
There is a total of 18 official bank holidays scheduled for December 2025, including mandatory weekly days off on the second Saturday and Sunday of each month.
