The clip shared by Official Humans of Keralam on Instagram shows the man lifting the elderly woman clad in saree. He makes her sit inside the car and she is seen drinking tea offered by another woman. The mother-son duo clicks selfies and is seen venturing through bloomed ‘Neelakurinji’.

However, due to Covid pandemic, the man could not return to India for five years.

“It broke my heart to see Ammachi. She looked much older- more white hair than ever, and weaker. She couldn’t stand or walk properly. She told me that she hadn’t even gone to church for years! I decided to take her out,” the man poured out his emotions.
