Pop star Harry Styles was hit in the eye when a concertgoer threw an object at him while Styles was performing at his sold-out ‘Love On Tour’ concert in Vienna Saturday.
Videos on social media show Styles walking across the stage when an unidentifiable object strikes him in the eye. He immediately flinches in pain and holds his eye as he continues to move ahead. So far, Styles has not given any update about whether he was injured. This incident has sparked a debate about concert etiquette.

Commenting on one such video, a Twitter user wrote, “This object throwing culture is about to kill how we experience concerts & festivals moving forward. They’re about to get more expensive and more exclusive.”
Another person wrote, “The fact that this seems like a “trend” now is infuriating. Y’all are gunna take away live music from the people who actually care about the performers well being.”
In recent months, several artists have been hit during their performance on stage.
On June 5, rapper Drake was hit on stage when a fan threw a phone at him. While Drake remained unharmed and continued the performance uninterrupted, singer Bebe Rexha had to stop her show midway and seek immediate medical help after she was struck with a phone during her NYC concert. The Grammy-nominated musician received stitches above her left eye.
