Google’s new Nano Banana Pro tool is suddenly everywhere online, thanks to a viral post that shows just how sharply it can read, and even recreate, handwritten text.

An X user shared a photo of the AI tool solving a handwritten maths problem simply by analysing an image of it. What stunned people more was that the answer appeared in the same handwriting style as the user’s notes.

The post, shared by @immasiddx, called the model “by far the best image generation AI out there.” He explained that he uploaded a picture of a handwritten question, and Nano Banana Pro not only cracked it instantly but also mimicked his writing. “Students are gonna love this,” he joked, adding that the accuracy went beyond what he expected.

The clip quickly sparked reactions on X, with many users amazed at how cleanly the tool handled handwriting. One person warned, “Students are going to learn nothing and just have AI do their homework.” Another wrote, “Impressive, but also slightly terrifying for educators, we’re about to enter a world where homework verification needs blockchain level authentication.”

Others chimed in with concerns about academic integrity. “A step towards making cheating more authentic,” one user said, while another noted, “Handwriting used to be the ‘Proof of Work’. It was the biometric signature of effort. Now, it’s just a style filter.”

Google says Nano Banana Pro is part of its Gemini 3 lineup and is built to advance visual comprehension with stronger reasoning and more context-aware responses. It’s available through tools like Google AI Studio and Vertex AI, enabling users to generate highly detailed visuals using improved real-time understanding.
