A video of an elephant attempting to climb a tree after failing to resist the allure of a jackfruit has gone viral on social media. The video, which was shared by IFS officer Parveen Kaswan shows the animal mounting a tree with its front legs while pulling off a jackfruit with its truck. "This #elephant got talent. Climbing a tree for #Jackfruit, which they love a lot. And he is eating it so nicely. Elephants can smell ripening jackfruits from quite a distance which many a time brings them close to human habitations," read Kaswan's tweet, which soon went viral. While some praised the animal for not ploughing down the tree, others called the jumbo "intelligent". The elephant is careful in not pushing down the tree while having jackfruit, though it has all the strength to do that. Nature is wonderful 😍 — Bane (@banestrategist) November 11, 2019 Lovely.
