A social media post by Nishtha Gehija, a chartered accountant turned writer, claiming she had written Ankur Warikoo’s second book in less than three months, is stirring up attention on social media. In her LinkedIn post, Gehija shared how she juggles ghostwriting books while maintaining her full-time career, prompting a response from Warikoo.
In a LinkedIn post, Gehija wrote, “I completed Ankur Warikoo’s second book in under 3 months. I often see many people struggling to even begin their book, while others—who may be less intelligent, more lazy, or perhaps less qualified—manage to finish theirs. Meanwhile, these ‘smarter’ individuals remain stuck, staring at a blank document for years! So, what’s the difference?”
She also shared her approach to writing, highlighting the importance of a clear roadmap and execution over mere intelligence. “I ghostwrite for a select group of premium clients, and now I’m opening up consulting calls for those who want to write their own book. Feel free to book a call with me through the link in my featured section,” she added.
“While I ghostwrite directly for a tiny tiny bunch of premium clients, I am opening consulting calls for those who want to write their book themselves,” Gehija wrote.

A social media user shared a screenshot of Gehija’s LinkedIn post on X, asking Warikoo for clarification. “Wait! Really would want Ankur Warikoo to clarify this. Was the book written by a ghostwriter?” the user wrote.
The author of the bestselling books Do Epic S**t and Get Epic S**t Done, Warikoo, addressed the controversy soon after the post gained traction. He wrote, “Nishtha is lying in her post. She didn’t write my second book. She wrote the first one, too.”
“My third book was also written by someone else- Elaine and Anabelle. They have also written my forth book. Infact, here is a prediction – all the books that I release will be written by someone else,” Warikoo wrote in a sarcastic post.
