After terrific victories against Bangladesh and Pakistan in the ODI matches for the ICC Champion Trophy, India captain Rohit Sharma was spotted taking a stroll on the streets of Dubai along with fielding coach T Dilip. Team India won against its archrival Pakistan on February 23 at the Dubai International Stadium. The team is now on a week-long break.

Sharma was followed and recorded by several fans, many of whom also asked for selfies. In a viral video, the cricketer was seen surrounded by a large crowd, and it appeared that he had no security with him. “He will never dare to walk alone on a street in Dubai again,” a third user wrote.

During the India versus Pakistan match on Sunday, early in Pakistan’s innings, Rohit was seen limping due to a hamstring issue after a lengthy chase to the boundary. He later walked off the field for a brief period, with Shubman Gill stepping in to take over.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Afghanistan knocked England out of the semi-final race at the Champions Trophy with an eight-run victory.
