Jimmy Donaldson, popular as MrBeast, never fails to make waves with his videos. Touted as the world’s most popular YouTuber, MrBeast has taken an initiative to curb hunger across the globe with his new charity project.

The YouTuber is working on creating a video that aims to feed people worldwide. To make this initiative a success, he reached out to affluent figures for donations in the range of a million dollars. “Dear ultra rich people on X, I’ve been working on a video where we feed people in need globally and if any of you wouldn’t mind donating a million dollars to help us feed more people that’d mean the world to me! Pretty plz,” MrBeast wrote on X.

With nearly 9 million interactions, the post ignited various reactions, including one from former professional kickboxer Andrew Tate’s brother Tristan Tate. “Sure I’ve got a million dollars for you as long as you promise to upload the video to @rumblevideo,” Tristan wrote. “Aren’t you one of them?” a user argued to which the YouTuber responded, “Yup, I’m putting in a few million.”

“This is awesome. But also, this is the adage of “give a man a fish and he’ll eat for a day, teach him how to fish and he’ll eat forever”. Is there an alternative where the money can be used to have work done to help them not end up in the position of needing food handouts to begin with? Incentive structure changes? Education? Etc,” another user commented.

According to CNBC, MrBeast brings in $600 million-$700 million in revenue each year, with his YouTube channel booming with over 267 million subscribers. Last year, he surpassed Indian music company T-Series to become the world’s most-subscribed YouTuber.
