Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg kept up his quirky Independence Day tradition on July 4th, sharing a video of himself wakesurfing. But this time, there was a twist. Known for making the 4th of July celebration fun, Zuckerberg got into a full-body inflatable suit patterned in red, white, and blue. This year, the Fourth of July marked the 249th anniversary of the United States of America. In the video, Zuckerberg begins on a boat, looking into the camera. A message flashes across the screen, which reads, “Is this the stupidest thing we have done so far?” He then repeats the question out loud. The video then shows him surfing on the water in his oversized, flag-themed inflatable suit. “Happy 4th of July! US," he captioned the video. "The internet now requires you to one-up this challenge every year until you’re holding a live eagle with fireworks shooting off the base of the board while chugging a beer in 2030," a user wrote. "I literally woke up this morning and asked myself what you were going to do this year to top off the last few years," another user commented. "Whoever taught you how to act like a human deserves a trillion dollars and to be famous sir," a third user said. Over the past few years, Zuckerberg's stunts have been grabbing eyeballs on social media. Last year, he shared a video of himself wakesurfing while wearing a tuxedo. In one hand, he held a beer, and in the other, the American flag to the soundtrack of Bruce Springsteen’s iconic song Born in the USA. In 2021, during his Fourth of July celebration, he was seen riding a surfboard in slippers, waving the US flag against a picturesque backdrop.
