‘Does it taste like chicken’ wonder Twitterati as headless chicken monster breaks the internet

A deep-sea creature, also being called the “headless chicken monster”, was recently filmed by the latest camera technology developed by Australian researchers. The unique creature was spotted in the Southern Ocean (Antarctic Ocean). A video of the unusual sea creature was also released on the government website. “Some of the footage we are getting back from the cameras is breathtaking, including species we have never seen in this part of the world,” Australian Antarctic Division program leader Dr Dirk Welsford said in a statement.

“Behold the majestic “headless chicken monster” or Enypniasties eximia, spotted recently in the Southern Ocean for the first time on an Australian fisheries camera,” tweeted the official handle of Antarctic Division. According to the government website, this is the first time this marine animal has been sighted in the Southern Ocean waters. Previously, it was spotted in the Gulf of Mexico.
