Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist Bill Gates lighted up the social feed with a new video where he could be seen enjoying a hot dog in Times Square, New York. Gates’s hot dog moment was captured by photojournalist Elder Ordonez and sent social media users into a frenzy.
The video begins with Gates standing near a hot dog cart vendor amid the bustling streets in Times Square, one of the world’s busiest pedestrian areas. Seemingly, the billionaire was shooting for a project. As the video progresses, a guy hands over a hot dog to him.
Sharing the video on Instagram, Ordonez wrote, “Bill Gates got a hot dog. from a cart vendor in Times Square New York this morning.”

The video quickly gained attention online, inviting a sea of reactions. A user wrote, “He’s just like us! Who knew Gates was a hot dog fan?” Another user commented, “Wow, even billionaires love a good hot dog!”
