Following its re-entry into the Indian smartphone market late last year, Honor has now unveiled three new devices that promise premium features at affordable prices. Let’s take a look.

Honor X9b
The Honor X9b smartphone is banking heavily on what the company claims is an ultra-durable “anti-drop” display. Honor says the X9b uses an “Ultra Bounce” technology that makes its screen five times more drop-resistant than the average phone.
In fact, Honor has been hyping up the X9b in a weeks-long campaign asserting that its display makes add-on tempered glass unnecessary and even “redundant.” That’s a bold statement. While the X9b touts an industry-first five-star drop test certification from SGS, we’ll need to see some real-world durability tests from popular YouTube reviewers before declaring tempered glass protectors obsolete.

Beyond screen resilience, the Honor X9b is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, 5G connectivity, and a massive 5,800mAh battery. The battery is a particular highlight of this device beyond the 6.78-inch 1.5K display, as the company claims it lasts for up to 3 days. Despite the capacity, the phone manages to flex a slim profile of just 7.98mm.
The phone also has a 108MP main camera and runs Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2. Priced at Rs. 25,999, is the Honor X9b truly up to snuff? Stay tuned for our full review.

With active noise cancellation, huge battery life and an IP54 rating, the new Honor Choice X5 earbuds pack some impressive specs for just Rs 1,999. Honor claims these affordable buds can block up to 30dB of external noise while delivering up to 35 hours of playback time per charge.
You also get Bluetooth 5.3, intuitive tap controls, and integration with Honor’s AI Space audio software for environment-based sound optimization.

Lastly, the Honor Choice Watch crams a ton of health, fitness, and convenience features into a smartwatch priced at just Rs. 6,499. Highlights include a bright 1.95-inch AMOLED display, 5ATM water resistance rating, 12 days of promised battery life, and continuous heart rate monitoring.
You also get built-in GPS for tracking outdoor workouts without a phone, Bluetooth calling so you can use the watch as a speakerphone, and an SOS safety feature to alert emergency contacts if needed. For under Rs. 7,000, the Honor Choice Watch seems extremely capable on paper.
