Things to keep in mind if you are buying the iPhone 17 from outside India
The international version of the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max and the iPhone Air should work without any problems, but there are a few things you should keep in mind before buying from outside India.
If you purchase the iPhone 17 from the US, keep in mind that it won’t have a physical SIM card slot but instead only supports eSIM. For those wondering, the Indian version comes with a nano SIM card slot in addition to eSIM support.
Another thing to keep in mind is that some markets sell carrier-locked iPhones, which means they may not work with Indian SIM cards. As for the warranty, all iPhones come with a global warranty, so you don’t have to worry about sending the phone back to the country where you purchased it to avail warranty.
Best countries to buy the iPhone 17 series at a lower price than in India
The cheapest place to buy the iPhone 17 is still the United States, where the device is selling for around Rs 70,500. followed by Canada, where the new iPhone can be purchased for Rs 72,500. While there is no point visiting these countries just to buy the iPhone 17, you can ask relatives, friends or family to buy it for you and bring it with them when they visit India.
