Meta just made it a lot easier to share profiles like a custom virtual business card on Instagram, making it easy to find new friends and connections on the photo and video-sharing platform.

Up until now, one way to share an Instagram profile with someone was by sharing your @username. Now, with Profile Cards, users can exchange two-sided profile cards, with all the profile-related details on one side and an easy-to-scan QR code on the other.

Users can further customize the Instagram Profile card by including links, music, and can even customize the background of the QR code with any image of their choice. Simply put, one can use Instagram Profile Cards to show their creativity and unique way of thinking.

Instagram Profile Card is available for both regular and business users, enabling professionals to share their cards with brands.

How to share an Instagram Profile Card:

To share your Instagram Profile card, go to your account, then tap on “share profile” in the profile banner. You can either download it to your device or share it on Instagram or other platforms such as X, WhatsApp, Snapchat, and more.

By default, the Instagram Profile Card will include all the details from your profile, including the profile picture and bio, which can also be further customized as per the requirement. One can also customize the profile card multiple times using options like changing the background, changing the colour tone, adding music, and more.

Make sure that you are running the latest version of Instagram on an Android or iOS-powered device to customize and share your profile card.
