Xiaomi is all set to launch its flagship Mi 5 smartphone on February 24. It is also hosting a select media preview of the device at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. In the build-up to the launch, the company co-founder has posted the first camera samples shot with taken with the Xiaomi Mi 5.
The company co-founder Lin Bin took to Weibo to post pictures shot with Mi 5 smartphone. The first image shows a beach and various elements around in a finer detail. Though the picture would have been compressed by Weibo while uploading, there is still a good amount of detail visible.

Xiaomi’s new flagship is expected to feature a 16-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilisation and a 13-megapixel secondary camera. The pictures posted by Xiaomi co-founder Lin Bin hints at the possibility of Mi 5’s camera getting even better auto-focus and faster shutter speeds.
Xiaomi Mi 5 is not much of a secret though, it has leaked several times before and is expected to feature a 5.2-inch display. The display resolution is still very much in the dark.
The device is expected to launch with two storage options – 3GB with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. Xiaomi might also announce its next MIUI ROM based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow along with its flagship device.
