iPhone 15 series goes on sale today, fans queue up outside Apple stores in Delhi, Mumbai

Vivek, another customer from Bengaluru, said he was delighted that he was about to get the new iPhone. Aan, who flew in from Ahmedabad on Thursday, mentioned he was outside the store since 5 am. Aan, further, informed that he had also attended the store opening and was fortunate to meet Tim Cook.

Meanwhile, similar scenes were observed at the Apple Store at Select Citywalk Mall in Saket, New Delhi. Apple fans have been waiting outside the store since morning. “I was in the queue since 4 am and then purchased the phone. I have always had top phones with me. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and an iPhone 14 Pro Max. After the 15 series was announced, I wanted to get the iPhone 15 Pro Max – that too before everyone else,” an ardent Apple fan said.

“It’s amazing to be back in India celebrating the launch of our incredible new products with our teams and customers at Apple BKC,” said Wendy Beckman, Senior Market Director, EMEIA.

“Our teams are so excited to be sharing the all new iPhone 15 lineup, and our new Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 featuring our first ever carbon neutral models,” she added

On September 12, Apple unveiled its iPhone 15 series featuring the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus come with an A16 Bionic chip and a 48MP primary camera, while the Pro models feature Apple’s most powerful A17 Pro Bionic chipset.

The iPhone 15 starts at Rs 79,900; iPhone 15 Plus at Rs 89,900; the iPhone 15 Pro starts at Rs 1,39,900, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max at Rs 1,59,900. The standard iPhones begin with the 128GB storage option, while the Pro models have 256GB as the base model.
